NOAH’S ARK
Notice that the box car is very small compared to the Ark, including Columbus's ship and the ark had three stories.
We know that Noah had to have
been a very wealthy man or he could not have had the time or money to build the
Ark, for 120
years. To be wealthy he had to have had a large successful business. Ken Ham
and the Back to Genesis is building a full sized copy of Noah’s Ark in Kentucky
and it will cost 24 million dollars, like the illustration above, this means Noah had to have been at least
a multi millionaire by today’s standards. In addition he had to have had land
to build it on. He also warned people for 120 years, he could not do that
unless he had access to mass media which could reach the whole world, this
takes money.
Noah’s
ark was the most stable and sea worthy ship ever built. It had no windows, only
one facing up which was sealed. It had air vents only along the top. It was
designed to turn into the wind and waves. It floated like a log which cannot be
sunk. The animals were brought to Noah in mated pairs of young juveniles. The Ark was three stories
high with three floors each the size of a football field filled with different
sized rooms. Noah gathered all the food and supplies needed for everyone to
last over a year. The animals hibernated and slept most of the time. God took
care of everyone on the Ark.
John
Morris says the word rooms in the Ark
were translated nests elsewhere in the Bible. This indicates that they rested
most of the time as animals do under stressful conditions requiring little
care.
The
domestic animals only required two of each kind. Two cows, two horse,
two
dogs, two cats. Man would multiply and breed them into different varieties we
see today after the Flood was over.
WHY DID GOD CHOOSE ONLY 8 PEOPLE?
The Flood brings up
questions, why was it that no one listened to Noah? And why is it only 8 people
were saved?
The answer is given in
Genesis 18, where Abraham appeals to the Angel to show mercy on Sodom and Gomorrah
if there are 50 righteous there. Abraham knows how bad they are so he keeps
reducing the number till he gets to 10 righteous people. The Lord agreed he
would not destroy these evil cities if there were 10 righteous. This gives the
principle that if there are 10 righteous he will not utterly destroy an evil
group. However, He will bring tribulations on them.
How many righteous were there
in Noah’s time? We do not know. There may have been many, but this number (just
like today) was decreasing geometrically as time went on. Apparently just
before the Flood there was only 10 righteous people, all others had died! Then
Enoch was Raptured into heaven alive. And Methuselah died the year of the
Flood. That left only 8 people!
There may have been
thousands or millions of righteous people before the Flood, but when the Flood
came there were only 8 left. In fact there was only one righteous and that was
Noah. However the Bible says when you are saved he includes your family.
According to this web site,
their speculative calculation on population growth based on today’s growth
since the Flood, about 5 thousand years ago indicates there would have been
about 50 million people killed in the Flood.
Actually there should have
been more than that since people lived several
hundred years in those days,
and were much healthier producing more children in a healthy environment.
However, my research
indicates that this speculation may be wrong! If large carnivorous animals and
continuous terrorism and war were common it is possible that man was almost
extinct.
There is another factor I
discovered in the course of this research for this book. Noah and his family
were the only people who were still alive and had not had their bloodline
contaminated by mixing with the Fallen Angels, their offspring the Nephilim, or
their decedents. This explains why Ham was saved. He was not of the Nephilim
bloodline, but he was rebellious, like Cain. So his descendants carried on the
Nephilim bloodline after the Flood. Satan is very subtle (clever), Satan
carries out his plans using those we think are Christians!
WHAT WAS THE PRE-CATACLYSMIC WORLD LIKE?
Other boundaries with extraterrestrial elements are found at the end of the Permian, Triassic, and Jurassic. This is not caused cyclic impacts over millions of years, but rather by cyclic tidal deposition during the first part of the year long Flood event. It was the moving water that deposited the sediment going to and fro. Once the ocean had risen enough to cover the land during the Flood, it became calm with much less deposition.

This unbiased secular research supports creationist Dr. Walter Brown’s Hydro Plate theory. Evidence shows how the fountains of the deep under pressure pushed and hydroplaned the continents apart after the Flood, pushing limey deep ocean sediment unto the continents creating limestone and cementing sediment into rock during the first stages of the Flood.
Inner Earth May Hold More Water than the Seas

on what they witnessed in their lab, the researchers concluded

more water probably exists deep within the Earth than is present on Earth's
surface—as much as five times more.”
Before the flood these water chambers were about 6.5 miles below the ocean floor, and 62 miles below the surface of the continents.
Before the catastrophe the world was a different place. There was one continent, and the oceans were lower and covered much less land. God created it perfect during creation week.
The sedimentary fossil record covers 75% of the earth’s surface, but accounts for only 8% of earth’s rocks. These surface sedimentary as well as volcanic rocks found with them, is a record of the worldwide cataclysm that covered the world with water for about a year. From creation week to this cataclysm the world existed from about 4004 BC to 2348 BC.
During this time consisting of about 1656 years, man created an advanced technological civilization, possibly more advanced than our own. They created a civilization led by Cain (the first Antichrist) in rebellion against God. Man’s pride in his inventions took the place of God. Like today they carried on wars, and conspiracies which made slaves out of people. They worshiped materialism and became wealthy merchants and formed a world government. Legends refer to this civilization as Atlantis. The Bible says men lived an average of 900 years. Both men and animals were larger than those living today. The fossil record proves this and shows the earth had a tropical climate world wide including the poles, and consisted of lush tropical vegetation, which has puzzled secular paleontologists. The cause of this was the radiation shield creating a green house effect worldwide.

The planet was warmer than today – scientists have estimated it was 6- 8 degrees centigrade warmer. Carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere were about 5 times higher than today.”
Carbon Dioxide and water vapor makes a greenhouse effect and causes plants to thrive. Today political pseudo-scientists claim Global Warming, i.e. Greenhouse effect is caused by man and is bad. No, it is caused by the sun and is good.
The Bible confirms that there was a thermal hydrostatic equilibrium radiation shield screening out the harmful cosmic rays, ultraviolet, infrared, and radioactive radiation creating greenhouse effects. It also increased atmospheric pressure, and increased oxygen/carbon dioxide levels. As a result plants and animals were healthier lived longer and were more prolific. This explains the huge coal deposits over a short time. The Bible says there was no rain; water came up from the ground causing plants and flowers, only seen in tended gardens today, to grow everywhere.

and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters

the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the
heavens (Note
that this says day, not indefinite period of time), 5 and every plant of the field
before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the
Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not
a man to till the ground. 6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered
the whole face of the ground.”
The best way to water potted plants is to submerge the pot in water so it comes up and saturates the soil. Watering from above can leave some roots dry when the water goes around dry areas.

a gas QMS to determine the oxygen level of ancient samples of Earth's
atmosphere from a most unlikely place - amber.

gases in these bubbles show that the Earth's atmosphere, 67 million years ago,
contained nearly 35 percent oxygen compared to present levels of 21 percent.
Results are based upon more than 300 analyses by USGS scientists of Cretaceous,
Tertiary, and recent-age amber from 16 world sites.* The oldest amber in this
study is about 130 million years old.”
The facts are correct the dates are proven false.
Notice that at Peleg, lifespan drops 1/3rd again! This shows there was another catastrophic event when the earth was divided.
LIFE SPANS IN THE BIBLE MATCH OXYGEN LEVELS
The Bible tells us how long each person lived. And if you make a graph of these lifespans you find at the time of the Flood life span dropped by one third. Then after the Flood at the time of Peleg a cataclysm occurred between 100 to 339 years after the Flood (Using Ussher’s date 2247 BC to 2008 BC), and caused life span to drop another one third.
Also, Time Magazine November 9, 1987 p. 82 reports that Geochemists Gary Landis of the U.S. Geological Survey and Robert Berner of Yale say dinosaurs breathed easier because scientists found that bubbles in amber showed the atmosphere had 50% more oxygen that today.
Paleontologists till now have been mystified as to how such large flying reptiles could fly. The largest flying bird today is the Condor with wingspan of 10 feet. The flying reptile Tapejara and Tupuxuara had wingspans of 16 and 17 feet; and late Cretaceous, Quetzalcoatlus and Zhejiangopterus had wingspans which exceeded 30 feet. In 1870 an expedition led by three army scouts one of which was Buffalo Bill for Yale paleontologist O.C. Marsh during the Indian Sioux uprisings near the Little Big Horn (the author of Tarzan Edgar Rice Burroughs was in the 7th cavalry but left before this battle). Paleontologists at this time speculated that these flying reptiles had to live near ocean cliffs to use updrafts to glide because they were too large to flap their wings. Then in 1872 while exploring the Cretaceous beds along the Smoky Hill River in western Kansas collecting many marine reptiles called Mosasaurs, Marsh discovered a wing-finger of a pterosaur. This bone was larger than any other discovered at the time. Recent discoveries have shed more light on this subject.

Also, the atmosphere was
thicker allowing larger creatures to fly.
See how the facts of
science confirm the expectations from a creation viewpoint, and contradict

Chapter 3
Re-establishment of Civilization
Post-Flood Megalithic period
during the Late Pleistocene Neolithic Period, was similar to the Pre-Flood
world. The difference is the Pre-Flood advanced civilization had a much longer
period to develop from the Paradise of Eden about 4004 BC, to the catastrophic
Flood about 1656 years later in 2348 BC. The Post-Flood period of Nimrod’s
kingdom which was an attempt to recreate the Pre-Flood advanced civilization lasted
only about 113 years. Peleg was born in 2248 BC one hundred years after the
Flood and in his day the earth was divided between 2248 and 2009 BC. Babel was founded about 13
years after his birth (the symbolic number of rebellion) in about 2235 BC. Then they were
scattered by a change in their languages, before they were able to finish the construction
of the advanced civilization. Peleg lived to the age of 239. So to determine
when the scattering occurred, subtract 13 years from 2248. Then subtract 113
years and it comes to 2122 BC. Therefore the cataclysm occurred between 2122 to
2096 BC. Of course, some skeptics dispute these dates. But they are close
enough.

This is incorrect.
There was a major worldwide
cataclysm similar to the Flood during Peleg’s life without continent covering
water. Biblical, geological, historical, paleontological and myths support a
Post-Flood cataclysm(s). A quote from Henry Morris shows he agrees that there
was a massive worldwide cataclysm after the Flood. See the quote in the
Preface.
KJVBible.org meaning of Peleg, contradicts the suggestion in the quote above:
“In the Hebrew language the word 'Peleg means a
dividing by a "small channel of water" and is also root associated
with the meaning of an earthquake. The Hebrew word used as 'divided in the passage means to "split" something (Note:
Like an ax). According to the genealogy (Genesis
11:10-17), this man named Peleg was born 101 years after the flood. No
doubt this Peleg was so named because of an event of great significance to the people living at the time
he was born.”
“After examining the Hebrew meanings, a more plausible alternative
interpretation would be that it describes an earth-splitting event such as a
valley opening in the ground and filling with water. That could have happened
anywhere along the Dead Sea Rift zone and may have been associated with a
delayed adjustment of the Earth's plates in response to the rapid subsidence of
the sea floors by the flood. In theory, when the weight of the waters of the
flood forced the sea floors downward to fill the void beneath, strain would
have developed between the oceanic and continental portions of the crustal

Under Sodom and Gomorrah there were oil deposits that contained methane gas which is explosive, just like at the La Brea asphalt seeps in Los Angeles.

The Gesher
Benot Ya'aqov archaeological site in the northern Dead Sea Rift of Israel contains Acheulian
artifacts and middle Pleistocene fossils.

This Pleistocene Rift occurred about the same time as the dividing of the continents between 2122 to 2096 BC, at or about the same time as Peleg, during who’s lifetime the earth was divided showing there was a world wide catastrophic earthquake and volcanic event or several events years after the Flood, which geologists call orogeny which formed today’s mountain ranges.
Another catastrophic event will involve this same African Rift (like the San Andreas fault in California) at the end of the Tribulation Period, when Jesus returns to set his foot on the Mount of Olives and it is split in half producing a huge valley.
Zechariah 14:1-8
“4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of
Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives
shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and
there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove
toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to
the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto
Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the
earthquake in the
days of Uzziah king of Judah
(Author’s Note: Uzziah lived
between 809 to 757 BC): and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. 6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that
the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7 but it shall be one day which shall be known
to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that
at evening time it shall be light. 8 And
it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them
toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in
winter shall it be.” This is what happened in Cajon Pass where the San Bernardino Mountain chains in California, when they were uplifted by the San Andreas Fault during a Pleistocene orogeny causing the Cretaceous marine Flood strata to move against the Post-Flood terrestrial Pliocene strata for 24 miles, resulting in volcanic eruptions. It also reversed the flow of the Mojave River back inland to end at Baker underground. This is when all the mountain barriers in coastal California were formed! This involved a worldwide upheaval.

Some creationists still think
most of the fossil deposits after the Cretaceous are Flood deposits, some
include the Pleistocene which is obviously Post-Flood. Researching for this
book, I have discovered to my surprise that everything after the Cretaceous is
Post-Flood.
Bill Hoesch is a creation
scientist currently on staff as a Research Geologist, field tour guide, and
speaker for the Institute for Creation Research. He
received a bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University
of Colorado and a Masters degree from
the ICR Graduate School he told me the Flood boundary was the KT boundary and
other creationists who believed Cenozoic mammals were Flood deposits, that
“They were not trained in geology.”
Also, the majority of creation
researchers believe there could not be a worldwide post Flood cataclysm. One of
these claimed in The Institute for Creation Research’s Acts and Facts,
“The
resultant geological violence would be overwhelmingly catastrophic—like another
Noahic Flood all over again.” Exactly
right! The cataclysmic Post-Flood Oligocene of South Dakota, and the
Pleistocene mammals they think are Flood deposits are examples of catastrophic
events after the Flood. I have examined hundreds of fossil sites and geology,
and that is exactly what I have seen in the genealogical records, the Bible, as
well as geology, ancient history, ice cores, legends, and fossil seashells.
There was a huge worldwide cataclysm (or
series of them) after the Flood during the Post-Flood period after
large mammals and humans had repopulated the earth, and I have been trying to understand
it. This Post-Flood world before Peleg, was tropical and there were no ice caps at the poles
or in the arctic for a period of time after the Flood. Henry Morris stated his
belief in a Post-Flood worldwide cataclysm which I quoted in the Preface.
